                                   Analyzer Technician – Duties included:

·        Calibration of all types of process analytical equipment and associated support equipment, including process gas chromatographs (Applied Automation Advance) and CEMS (Horiba) stack monitoring;

·        Responsible for maintenance and repair of on-line analyzers, sample systems, sample transport, associated buildings, and development of PPM procedures;

·        Recommended changes in installations to simplify calibration and maintenance;

·        Documented changes in plant instrumentation;

·        Marked-up loop and ladder diagrams and P&IDs as built;

·        Supplied drawings on control room panel design layout, wiring, loop diagrams, location plans, junction boxes, and converted relay logic to PLC;

·        Job required ability to work with AutoCad drafting to enter and retrieve data from computer.

                                   Sr. Analyzer Technician – Duties included:

·        Responsible for the routine maintenance and calibration of process analyzers and on-stream gas chromatographs in the oxygen, ethylene oxide, and utilities units;

·        Process control system was Honeywell TDC-3000.  Analyzer types:  Bendix 7000 and Applied Automation Advance 2100 gas chromatographs, Taylor, Servomex, O2, MSA IR, Teledyne O2 trace and HACH hardness and silica analyzers.



4/89 – 5/89:                Lummus/Crest, Inc. Joint Venture Project, Basrah, Iraq

                                   Analyzer Specialist – Duties included:

·        Provided technical support for analyzer group during restart of ethylene, EDC and VCM units;

·        Monitored analyzers (Teledyne) and PLCs (Allen Bradley) during start-up of electrical generating station using refuge as fuel;

·        Provided technical coverage during start-up.

                                   Control Systems Specialist – Duties included:

·        Participated in commissioning and start-up of automatic guided vehicle system (Protec Navigator);

·        Provided technical coverage until system was accepted by RJR.
